Today marks a historic milestone for the Paoli Fire Company. Our EMS substation, Station 103, was inaugurated at Echo Lake Senior Living Community in the Malvern area of Tredyffrin Township.
The Paoli Fire Company recognized that response times to Echolake and the northern part of Tredyffrin Township were below the recommended standards, prompting us to seek solutions. We were also informed of significant road construction on Rt. 29 at S. Atwater Dr. In collaboration with our longstanding private partnerships, we were offered space at Echo Lake Senior Living Community to house a Paramedic and a Paramedic response vehicle, which will help decrease response times.
Station 103 will operate from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. Monday through Friday out of the Wellness Center at Echo Lake Senior Living Community. This Paramedic unit will enable us to provide quicker and more efficient care for Echo Lake Senior Living Community residents. Moreover, the Paramedic at Station 103 will respond to emergencies in the northern portion of the Paoli Fire Company’s response district and surrounding municipalities in an SUV to expedite care. |
