Passing of Oscar "Corky" Cornelius
Sun. Apr 13th 2014

It is with deep regret the Paoli Fire Company announces the passing of Engineer, and Life Member Passing of Oscar "Corky" Cornelius.  Corky passed away suddenly on Thursday, April 10, 2014.  Corky served the Paoli Fire Company for 36 years.  He held the positions of Chief Engineer, Assistant Engineer, and Engineer.

Everyday Corky would be at the firehouse usually in the morning to have some coffee with the crew's.  Corky was also a great asset during the day, as being of the daily Apparatus drivers. Corky also worked at the Paoli Hardware store.  He once owned the Sir Speedy in Berwyn.  Corky was also past Emergency Management Coordinator of Easttown Township.

Corky was a tremendous asset to the department.  He was a great friend and touched so many lives in his career at the department.  He will missed by all.  Rest in Peace Corky.
